Designer
Reeta Ek (nata nel 1979) è un’artista che ha studiato arte tessile presso la prestigiosa Università Aalto a Helsinki, Finlandia. Reeta Ek ha lavorato come designer tessile per aziende come Marimekko, Nanso e Lapuan Kankurit. La designer trova l’ispirazione per i suoi lavori nella vita, ritmo e colori di tutti i giorni. Secondo Reeta Ek: ”Le buone idee spesso nascono la mattina davanti a una tazza di caffè o sfogliando il giornale. Tuttavia non si può restare ad aspettare che arrivi l’ispirazione, ma questa si evolve e cresce facendo, e anche attraverso gli errori”. A settembre 2017 Reeta Ek è stata premiata come Giovane Designer dell’Anno.
